Ever since I was 16, I have been passionate about the harmonious balance between body, mind, and soul. In 2008, I earned my first diploma in massage and discovered that massage is more than just a technique—it is a true art of healing and connecting with people. The following years were a time of exploration and self-learning, driven by a desire to understand and address my own health challenges. This personal journey led me to Ayurveda, the Indian holistic science of body-mind-soul balance. Motivated by a wish to help my family and those around me, I began taking massage courses with Barbara Fregnan.
Later, I deepened my knowledge in Italy at the Atharva Veda Institute – Ayurvedic Center and School of Ayurveda Massage, in partnership with P.V.A Center for Study and Research on Ayurveda Medicine, Kannur, India. This international experience gave me a profound and holistic understanding of Ayurvedic massage and energy therapy, which I now integrate into every session.

Ashoka Rai joined the Luna Day universe right from the beginning, in 2022, bringing with her passionate and dedicated hands. With over 10 years of experience in Ayurvedic techniques, gained while working in Nepal, Ashoka continued in Târgu Lăpuș to help hundreds of people, combining traditional knowledge with the practical and holistic approach shaped by her international experience.
Her desire for personal growth and to share this knowledge led her to explore our culture and bring an authentic perspective to every session. Today, Ashoka works alongside me as an assistant trainer, guiding our students through the authenticity and depth of Ayurvedic treatments, providing practical support and inspiration throughout each course.

Ayurveda Massage Technician – Beginner Course
This course is designed for both therapists who want to expand their client portfolio and individuals eager to gain knowledge in Ayurveda for personal growth.
Module 1
Introduction to Ayurveda, the relationship between humans and the Universe. Origins, fundamental principles, and basic concepts.
Practice: Basic Ayurvedic massage maneuvers.
Module 2
The 5 fundamental elements in Ayurveda. The concept of Dosha. The 7 constitutions. Causes, stages, and triggers of disease. Characteristics of Ayurvedic treatment.
Practice: Ayurvedic massage for Vata and Pitta doshas.
Module 3
Human body constitutions. Mental, emotional, and physical traits. Introduction to dosha imbalances.
Practice: Kapha dosha massage and abdominal massage.
Module 4
Agni – Digestive fires: functions and tips for improvement. Malas – Wastes. Dosha – imbalances per dosha and Ayurvedic solutions.
Practice: Review of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha massages + Marmabhyangam.
Module 5
Stages of disease, recognizing them, and Ayurvedic intervention. Panchakarma. Detox methods.
Practice: Nalabhyangam (venous massage), Shirovasti, and Shirodhara.
Module 6
Subtle bodies. Anatomy and physiology in Ayurveda. Correlation between Nadis and the brain. Chakras: balance and imbalance.
Practice: Pranic Ayurvedic massage
Exam: Theory, multiple-choice test, and practical exam.
Course materials for individual study at home are provided. All consumables (oil, towels, etc.) are supplied throughout the course.
Duration: 6 Modules (1 weekend per month, in-person – 6h Saturday + 6h Sunday)

Payment option in installments: Registration 750 RON + 700 RON/month
Advanced Training Course – Ayurvedic Massage Technician (Intermediate Level)
This course is designed for therapists who wish to refine and deepen their Ayurvedic massage techniques. It is recommended to take this course after completing the introductory course, though it is not mandatory.
Module 1
Respiratory system, liver, and pancreas
Practical: Nadiabhyangam – arterial massage + Muriabhyangam – joint massage
Module 2
Introduction to srotas – the body’s channels
Practical: Neerabhyangam – Ayurvedic lymphatic massage
Exam: Multiple-choice test and practical massage assessment
Course materials are provided to support continued self-study at home. All consumables (oils, towels, etc.) are included throughout the course.
Duration: 2 Modules
(Modules are held 1 weekend per month, in-person – 6h Saturday and 6h Sunday)
Price: 2350 RON
Payment plan option: Registration 750 RON + 800 RON monthly
Midhiabhyangam – Ayurvedic Massage Performed with the Feet
This is an ancient massage with multiple benefits: grounding, muscle relaxation, and recovery after intense activity. It is suitable for everyone, not only therapists.
Duration: 1 day (6 hours)
Course materials are provided. All consumables (oil, towels, etc.) are included.
